
Ian was anxious to show Grandad the train around our Christmas tree. He's old enough this year to control it himself and it was all he wanted to do Thanksgiving Day!
Gran unearthed from storage a Mickey Mouse calculator that was mine in 1980-something and Henry went to work calculating. Gran taught him to write 100s, 1000s and even some addition and subtraction. He had to grab his calculator before he did anything.

Grandad's friend at work gave him this 2012 calendar with a different tractor pictured for each month. Ian took some breaks from the train to ask people (Grandad in particular) to look at his calendar with him.

He always went right back to his post!
These boys never lack for a playmate when their grandparents are in town.

And story time with Gran is the best!
