Henry and Ian Speak

Grandma: "Whose kids are you?" (Determining if the boys know our first names.)
Henry: "Mom and Dad's. But they don't 'own' us. They 'had' us... we're not slaves."

I told the boys we were having breakfast for dinner, otherwise known as oh-my-lord-its-six-thirty-what-happened?! Ian pulls a stool up to the counter and says "I'll have my usual, Mom."

Henry asked: "Mama, on our birthday can we wake each other up and give each other a big hug and then wake up you-n-Daddy and we all celebrate a little?" You bet, sweet boy. Love this kid.

Henry always has at least one more question when I tuck him in. One night recently he had three: "What's glass made of?" "What makes light?" "What started the Big Bang?" Sheesh!
